The story of Homes by WestBay begins during the uncertain times of 2009, at the lowest point of the greatest housing downturn in recent history. Amid this volatile time, our tenacious and visionary founders seized what we now know as a very rare opportunity.
As many other home builders were exiting the market, it was clear that while there were fewer buyers overall, those that were seeking new homes were looking for a higher level of quality and superior workmanship.

In our first year of production, we built and delivered 63 well-appointed homes. We were delighted to unexpectedly exceed expectations by more than double.
Our mission then and now is to deliver a better way of life to homeowners in Tampa Bay through the best customer experience in the industry.
