Beth Bradburn Honored in SRQ Magazine for Community Giving
Beth Bradburn, Chief Operating Officer of Homes by WestBay, was recently named a Good Hero and featured in SRQ Magazine’s Philanthropy section for her long-standing work with two Tampa Bay area nonprofits.
Backing Resilient Retreat
Beth has become a vocal advocate for Resilient Retreat, a Sarasota nonprofit serving survivors of trauma and abuse, speaking to large audiences about its mission and its work with survivors, helping professionals and first responders. Several WestBay team members volunteer with the organization directly, and Resilient Retreat asked the company’s Sarasota and Manatee Division Manager, Dee Crescini, to join its board. As a locally owned homebuilder, Homes by WestBay makes a point of partnering with local charities where its support can make a visible difference.
A Board Seat with A Kid’s Place
Beth also serves on the Board of Directors for A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay, an organization Homes by WestBay has supported since 2017. The nonprofit offers children removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect a safe, caring environment.
Giving Back as a Way of Building
As Beth put it in the feature:
“We don’t just build homes; we strive to deliver a better way of life to homebuyers in Tampa Bay.”
For anyone looking to get more involved in philanthropy, Beth’s advice: start with a cause that genuinely resonates, find an organization whose mission aligns, and don’t be afraid to start small.
